About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Risk Management to serve as the senior leader responsible for the safety and sustainability of its global live event operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and leading a comprehensive risk strategy that is in line with the company's mission of delivering world-class live experiences. This includes overseeing event-specific risk management, insurance and contractual risk, claims coordination, and regulatory compliance. The role demands a deep understanding of crowd safety, event operations, and regulatory compliance in the live event industry, as well as the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations. The VP will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining an enterprise risk management framework and ensuring that the organization is prepared for and resilient against both anticipated and unforeseen challenges.

Applicants for the Vice President of Risk Management position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and professional certifications in risk management. A minimum of 15 years of progressive risk management leadership experience, with at least 5 years in the live event, sports, entertainment, or large-scale public gathering sector, is required. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in managing global safety and risk programs for high-attendance, high-profile events, as well as expertise in insurance program design, contract risk review, and large-scale incident management.
