Patient Service Representative - Family Medicine
Jefferson City Medical Group provides a base pay range of $15.00/hr - $19.00/hr.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates knowledge and ability to check patients in and out for clinic visits.
Maintains patient demographics and insurance records.
Shows knowledge of basic insurance and billing procedures.
Performs routine duties associated with patient scheduling, payments and co‑payments.
Performs secretarial duties in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensures customer-friendly telephone communication.
Provides appropriate safety and infection control measures.

Maintains high work ethic standards.
Provides quality customer service to staff, patients and visitors at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Experience
Minimum of one year experience in a customer service setting, preferably six months as a receptionist in healthcare.
Experience with office equipment.
Certification/License
N/A.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Articulate and good telephone communication skills.
Computer skills required.
Work Environment Works in a heated and air-conditioned area consistent with a normal office environment.
