Commercial Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled
Commercial Maintenance Technician
to support all building and property maintenance needs. This role is responsible for completing work orders, preventive maintenance, and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural systems while ensuring safe, reliable building operations. Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural systems Inspect facilities, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs as needed Respond to tenant service requests and collaborate with tenants, contractors, and property management Complete interior and exterior maintenance including lighting, painting, drywall, sidewalks/parking areas, snow and ice removal, and general repairs Maintain fire/life safety systems, security systems, doors, locks, and access controls Perform custodial duties as needed and maintain cleanliness of common areas Coordinate and monitor outside contractors Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and service records Follow all safety standards and OSHA regulations Qualifications
High school diploma or GED 5+ years of related maintenance experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance Solid understanding of safety and compliance standards Ability to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Physically able to climb ladders and stairs Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation If you’re a hands‑on problem solver who takes pride in keeping buildings running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.
