Install or replace split system or packaged HVAC systems up to 20 tons Fabricate and install all piping associated with an installation - including soldering and brazing Copper, Steele and Brass Gas line, condensate lines and pumps, water lines Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in light commercial buildings Install, measure and modify ductwork Complete installation of HVAC systems Demo, start and document

Startup and verify performance

Recover, secure electrically and demo existing equipment needing to be replaced Verify leak free, test, start and check operation Diagnose and repair systems deficiencies found at startup Log, document and maintain records of install, startup and warranty Use a variety of hand tools, interpret drawings, plans, and specifications, to install, assemble, and test the system Capable of identifying HVAC equipment and components of HVAC equipment Complete understanding of the refrigeration cycle and the electrical system Complete understanding of the products control system Complete understanding of Unitary Systems air flow Complete understanding of Mechanical, Sheetmetal and Piping code. Identify and recommend repairs needed Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time. Qualifications and Requirements

Previous experience in residential or light commercial split-level install Able to recover, evacuate and recharge systems Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required Must have own hand tools Must successfully pass a background check & drug test. Must be able to work a flexible schedule-days, nights and some weekends. Attending or completed HVAC technical training. Community College OJT Military HVAC/Electrical Training Possess or capable of obtaining Universal Certification Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing. Constant standing, walking, reaching and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC). Material Handling: Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and constant lifting up to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC). High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Work Environment

Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working high exposure places. Benefits
