WIC Program Generalist
The Children and Family Health Institute (CFHI) is a charitable, nonprofit program of VNA Health Group focused on improving the health and well‑being of children and families through accessible, community‑based care. CFHI delivers high‑impact programs including nutrition support, preventive screenings, vaccinations, and inclusive health services through community health centers and mobile outreach. We are seeking a WIC Program Generalist to provide essential support in the WIC certification process and ensure eligible participants receive food benefits. Based in our Perth Amboy location, this full‑time role is perfect for someone passionate about public health mniej customer service, and helping families thrive_predictability. You’ll play a key role in delivering top‑tier patient services in a fast‑paced clinic environment. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required. Responsibilities
Supports organization’s mission by striving forexcellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positiveinterpersonal relationship with co‑workers
Delivers a high level of customer service toassure positive patient experience
Schedules WIC appointments
Obtains, verifies and documents participantinformation
Obtains anthropometric measurements and blood workfor participants
Maintains inventory logs for blood work, bloodwork controls and cuvettes
Distributes WIC checks
Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies
Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards toabsenteeism and appearance
Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Experience with culturally diverse population
Knowledge of basic computer skills
Strong communication, customer service andinterpersonal skills
Valid drivers license/auto insurance required
Bilingual (Spanish and English) required
Working Conditions/Physical Demand Busy clinic environment at various locations in the community; ability to carry/lift 40 lbs; requires setting up tables and chairs; requires transporting supplies and equipment to WIC clinics; responsible for laptop and related equipment

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is $30,000.00 to USD $65,000.00. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions. The total compensation range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add‑on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
