Job Summary:
M365/Server Administrator is responsible for the planning, implementing and administration of the firm’s hybrid Entra/M365 environment. Perform maintenance and support for on premise Windows servers while providing advance tier level support for all employees. Participate/lead technical projects both on premise and in the cloud to assist in firm objectives.
Responsibilities: • Installation and life-cycle maintenance of IT hardware and Windows Server licensing (servers, networking equipment, Server operating systems) • Monitors security compliance in accordance with firm standards, policies and procedures • Responsible for monitoring data backups and ensuring they are completed on a regular basis • Provides technical support that requires an on-site presence (server, NAS, network or PC equipment failure), including data backup recovery • Familiar with the administration of firewall • Provide general IT support and other responsibilities as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Ability to work within a budget • Experience with standard software applications including MS Office 365, Windows 10,11, Server OS 2016 and greater • High level of proficiency in M365 including Teams, OneDrive and Sharepoint • Exceptional level of skill in hybrid Entra AD administration and Exchange administration • Solid working experience in Intune and Windows Defender implementations • Familiarity with troubleshooting of computers and servers (both on premise and remote) • Basic network understanding of DNS, DHCP, VPN and Wifi
(802.11ac|802.11ax) • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively • Self-motivated Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years related experience or equivalent combination • Microsoft 365 Intermediate or Expert level certification • Professional certifications as appropriate • Knowledge of current trends in the specific field Physical
Requirements: • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times • Work in the office three days a week.
