We are seeking aBoard-Certified Neurologist with subspecialty expertise in dementia, cognitiveneurology, or behavioral neurology to provide remote diagnostic assessments andcollaborate with interdisciplinary teams in supporting care for older adults withneurocognitive disorders. This part-time, contract role is ideal for aphysician passionate about advancing innovative, high-quality care for agingadults.
Location: Remote (Texas license required)
Schedule: Part-time, 5-10 hours/week
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, Contractor (1099)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote clinicalassessments and review cognitive testing data, clinical histories, andcaregiver interviews to support accurate diagnosis
- Provide consultative inputon complex or unclear dementia cases and collaborate on treatment planning
- Document findings anddiagnoses per current documentation, billing, and coding standards
- Adhere to evidence-basedclinical guidelines in evaluating and diagnosing cognitive disorders
- Collaborate with ARNPs, MDs,and care teams to enhance dementia-related care and care planning
- Participate ininterdisciplinary case reviews as needed to support holistic, person-centeredcare
Requirements:
- MD or DO with BoardCertification in Neurology
- Subspecialty experience indementia, cognitive neurology, or behavioral neurology strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years ofclinical experience, including dementia diagnosis and management
- Unrestricted Texas medicallicense
- Experience with telemedicineplatforms and remote patient assessment
- Strong written and verbalcommunication skills
- Comfort working bothindependently and within virtual care teams
- Prior experience invalue-based care, risk-sharing, or managed care environments preferred
