We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused Assistant Project Manager to grow with our team. Youll have the chance to work on a major Healthcare client project based in the Long Beach, CA area. This large-scale construction project/program will utilize your Construction Management focus to help ensure safe and efficient delivery. Youll work with top engineers and project managers, gaining experience working directly with the project contractors. We want you to be empowered to deliver bold solutions for everyday living. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will prepare RFIs, RFPs, review project scope and contract values, and oversee all craft trades onsite. Your skills in negotiation, managing site work, and project controls will guide you toward the best outcomes for the client and Jacobs. Building strong relationships with the client will be key to your success here at Jacobs.

Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs workplace full-time, as required by their role.
Here's what you'll need
Bachelor's Degree in Construction or equivalent work experience in construction in lieu of education
5+ years of experience working on large building or civil projects
Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components
Ideally, you'll also have:
Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification or
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure

The base salary range for this position is $77,800 to $121,500. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
