A Day in the Life A typical day includes responsibilities such as: Managing the total omni customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial standards are met Representing the H&M brand positively during customer interactions Establishing, analyzing, and following up on sales and budget goals, creating plans to optimize results Providing personal customer service and guiding customers through fashion stories Promoting our Customer Loyalty App and sustainability initiatives Scheduling staff according to sales and activity needs Maintaining routines in fitting rooms and checkouts Identifying commercial opportunities and maintaining competitor awareness Managing store maintenance cost-effectively Handling administrative routines for people and operations Fashion & Trend Awareness Staying updated on fashion trends, styles, brands, competitors, and influencers Ensuring the team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions Understanding the local area, customer base, competition, and fashion trends Team & Development Managing talent and performance, including recruiting, onboarding, and development Conducting performance evaluations and succession planning Sharing knowledge and skills with the team Collaborating with area and store leadership teams Planning and scheduling team activities Communicating regularly to motivate and inform staff Ensuring procedures, routines, security, and legal requirements are followed Participating in onboarding, training, and development programs Retail Operations/Visual & Commercial Execution Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and back of house Ensuring high-quality visual and product presentation Managing stock levels and providing input on allocation Supporting daily opening and closing routines Overseeing the garment cycle, fitting room routines, and in-store tech services Maintaining price signs and in-store signage according to guidelines Updating and maintaining BOH areas with key information and safety standards Who You Are A strong leader who enjoys responsibility and team coaching Ambitious, communicative, analytical, and comfortable with numbers and statistics Experience in leadership, retail management, and operations Proven ability to collaborate and lead a team effectively
