STV is seeking an
Interior Designer
to join our Buildings Group based out of either our
NYC or Boston, MA locations . As a Designer, you will work under the supervision of a Senior Designer or Architect on complex and high-profile projects, performing a variety of drafting and design tasks. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to explore new concepts and methods. Essential Functions
Assist the design team to develop design ideas and integrate criteria into a project. Understand project criteria and assist in selecting finishes, furnishings, and fixtures. Assist in developing details and specifications. Able to manage time and workload with regular interaction and direction from project leads. Perform all other duties as assigned and within scope of practice. Be highly organized and motivated, capable of working on multiple initiatives simultaneously. Possess basic oral and written communication skills. Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field from an accredited university. Minimum of two (2+) years of related experience in interior design. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office. Basic rendering skills; use of Enscape and VR is a plus. Working knowledge of construction documentation and architecture detailing. Familiarity with finishes, furnishings, and equipment. Please submit a portfolio or work examples with your application.
