You'll ensure our financial engine runs like clockwork while positioning HVMG for unprecedented growth. Additional Responsibilities:

Support CFO in managing the annual insurance renewal process including managing the planning and application process, analyzing the result of renewal bids, coordinating cost allocations, spearheading the communication of allocation changes to ownership, and managing the invoicing and payment process. Support the transitions in/out of the HVMG insurance program Monitor and track all billing adjustments related to midterm adds and deletes from the HVMG insurance program. Work with insurance broker to review and recommend changes to insurance programs to yield savings while maintaining compliance with HMA and Brand requirements. Support CFO in resolving legacy issues that require research and executive decision-making. Recommend solutions to legacy issues and the follow through to completion. Along with the corporate controller, lead the external audit process through issuance of the annual audit report. Support corporate and hotel accounting functions as needed with process improvements, system enhancement, issue resolution, training, development, etc. Research, review, recommend actions for improving productivity, efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the products and services delivered by the Finance and Accounting team. Support new initiatives such as labor management, reporting enhancements, Ensure that vacancies on the finance and accounting team are effectively addressed with little to no disruption. Experience with Sage Intacct, Profit Sword Suite, and Hotel Effectiveness. Profit-orientation; accustomed to making decisions to improve the bottom-line. Clear strengths in the design and implementation of auditing and accounting systems to provide greater cash flow and reduce loss. Motivated by growth, both in their own track record of success in high-growth organizations and also that they are dedicated to their own self-development. Excellent interpersonal skills used to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization including company owners, hotel owners, executive team, hotel managers and hotel controllers/accounting team members. Service-driven; passionate about using their financial skills and expertise to serve their colleagues and owners. Dynamic leadership style that inspires a high level of morale and productivity coupled with attentive follow through. Experience managing third party services and relationships. Ability to work and get along with peers and work well cross-functionally. Ability to execute, follow-through and “get things done”. Strong MS Excel, Word & Power Point proficiency. Organized and detail oriented, proven ability to juggle, multi-task with demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple complex work-streams, including during periods of limited oversight. . A minimum of ten years of progressive leadership roles across several accounting / finance functions in hospitality. Demonstrated track record of driving financial results and setting strategy for the finance division of a high-growth organization. Previous experience building/scaling a finance team will be highly valued. Experience with major hotel brands including Marriott, Hilton, & Hyatt.
