Aquatics Director - Owasso YMCA

Oversee all aspects of aquatic programming including training, supervision of lifeguards, coordination of swim lessons and all aspects of Aquatic programming for the branch. Under the leadership of the Executive Director this position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. All staff are representatives of the philosophy, mission and goal of the YMCA and its youth development programs. Staff must strive to work cooperatively with fellow employees to achieve the goals and objectives of the YMCA. Required: High School Diploma or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years’ experience working in Aquatics Programming Current CPR/AED/First Aid/Lifeguard Certification Minimum 2-year Staff or Volunteer supervision experience Knowledge of aquatics programming and safety issues Demonstrated leadership, dependability & flexibility in work hours Preferred: Bilingual - English/Spanish. Lifeguard Instructor Certification Associate’s degree, or higher
