Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Collaborate with leadership to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws and internal policies. Lead and mentor the accounting team to support professional growth and efficiency. Coordinate with external auditors and manage annual audits. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness. A successful Controller should have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance 10+ years of accounting and finance experience Experience in the real estate and property management industry a plus Experience leading a team Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
