MaineIT seeks to create documentation and content for its processes and procedures, which will be accessible to all MaineIT staff within the learning management system. This service will also be extended to other State agencies as they are integrated into the system. The ideal candidate will have experience managing or maintaining a Learning Management System, including user management, content management, and system updates. They should demonstrate stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to facilitate adoption of new systems. As a Systems Analyst, they should understand the capabilities and limitations of computer systems, applications, and various information technologies. They will analyze systems and procedures, write and revise standards and procedures, communicate effectively, and train others. While the primary focus will be on the LMS project, the candidate will also contribute to other OIT projects as needed. Experience Required: 5+ years of related industry experience. Preferred Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent working experience in business analytics or communications. Organizational Change Management skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and end users. Knowledge of all phases of the software development life cycle and project development cycle. Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and effectively. Experience gathering business requirements for system design, including methodologies like story mapping, impact mapping, and user story writing and refinement. Experience writing queries and analyzing data. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a team. Experience in writing and executing detailed test plans.
