Position Summary The Texas Market President is responsible for the strategic leadership and overall management of banking operations within a designated region. This includes driving loan sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing expenses, maintaining compliance, and overseeing past-due loan accounts. The role involves originating and servicing a diverse portfolio of business loans—both secured and unsecured—often involving high-value clients and complex financial structures. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Lending & Credit Management Originate and service a wide range of business loans, including unsecured and secured loans. Conduct applicant interviews to assess financial needs, creditworthiness, and risk. Analyze financial data, perform credit checks, and conduct site visits as needed. Make lending decisions within authority limits or recommend to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with the Bank’s credit policy and appraisal review standards. Leadership & Team Management Supervise and mentor regional lenders, processing supervisors, and processors. Set and monitor sales goals, budgets, and performance metrics for loan and deposit growth. Conduct monthly sales meetings to track progress and align team efforts. Lead by example through active community involvement and visibility. Customer Experience & Relationship Management Enforce high service standards for both retail and commercial accounts. Promote cross-selling of bank products and services across all teams. Resolve customer issues and provide routine platform services. Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive financial solutions. Operational Oversight Monitor loan portfolio performance using system controls and reporting tools. Manage and reduce past-due loans across the region. Ensure adherence to compliance, recordkeeping, and customer call programs. Execute follow-ups on assignments from weekly sales meetings. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in banking or financial services. Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams. Strong analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of lending practices, credit analysis, and regulatory compliance.
