Position Overview:
As a Media Supervisor, you’re a strategic and curious thinker who seamlessly balances analytical rigor with creative innovation to bring media ideas to life. You are both a mentor and a doer – leading client relationships, inspiring your team, and identifying opportunities that drive meaningful business results.
Responsibilities:
Lead and/or participate in pre-planning meetings to gather input, define audience insights, and establish clear media strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of integrated, multi-channel media plans, including digital, print, audio, video, OOH, social and programmatic, ensuring plans are innovative, effective, and on-budget.
Manage and mentor junior team members (e.g., Media Planners, Media Buyers), providing ongoing guidance, training, and career development support.
Serve as the primary media lead for assigned clients — ensuring a high level of client satisfaction through proactive communication, strategic thinking, and flawless execution.
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including account, creative, strategy, and analytics to ensure cohesive storytelling and execution.
Build and maintain productive relationships with media partners; oversee negotiations to deliver maximum value and ROI.
Monitor media performance and optimize campaigns in real time where applicable; translate performance data into clear, actionable insights and present results in compelling reports and presentations.
Contribute to agency thought leadership by staying informed on industry trends, platforms, tools, and new partner offerings; share findings internally and with clients.
Support business development and organic growth opportunities by contributing to new business pitches, proposals, and strategic recommendations.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the agency and its clients.
Requirements:
6+ years of progressive experience in media planning and buying within an agency or in-house marketing team, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Key Competencies:
Mastery of media planning fundamentals.
Experience with most types of media – social and programmatic a plus.
Ability to present complicated media plans in a simplified form to clients.
Strong attention to details and accuracy.
Demonstrate strong quantitative and analytical skills that create actionable insights behind numbers/data.
Utilize and embrace AI tools to drive smart, efficient, and bold creative media solutions within our AI-powered agency.
Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively and work well under pressure to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to constant change.
Demonstrated experience leading junior talent, including coaching and delegation.
Strong storytelling and presentation skills — able to translate data and media strategy into clear, compelling narratives.
Proficiency with media tools/platforms such as MRI-Simmons, Comscore, Google Campaign Manager, Meta Business Suite, and DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360, etc.) preferred.
Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and prioritizing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel as required.

Compensation Details:
The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000. Our employees are eligible for a full package of traditional benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. We are a hybrid work company (3 days/week in-office, 2 days/week remote is a typical week at broadhead) with Paid Time Off, paid holidays, and 401(k) matching. In addition, we provide paid parental leave, performance-based bonuses, employee stipends, and gym access. Employees can receive employer contributions to HSAs, FSAs, and Student Loan Debt Repayment benefits.
