Salary: $29-30 Shift: M-F
6:00am to 2:30pm (some Saturdays may be required) Position Summary
The System Integrator-Testing works under the general supervision of the Electrical Engineering Design Lead. Supports and programs PLCs and touch screens while configuring equipment to operate to rigid specifications as determined by the equipment requirements. The System Integrator supports and writes technical instructions for those programs and the equipment operation. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical machine malfunctions at the customer's location involving travel to either a domestic or international locale. Oversee the installation of new equipment and be involved in testing the same before shipping. Inspects equipment overall, as well as mechanical and electrical assembly components with the use of subassembly drawings. Use a variety of hand and power tools to correct issues
Essential Job Duties
Program PLCs and touch screens using Allen Bradley software is a must Perform electrical troubleshooting including identify and solve electrical malfunctions, ensure wiring is correct to schematics, program inverters, and program temperature controllers Observe and identify functions of conveyor belts, blowers, drives, precision rollers, oven and fryer combustion systems and program the PLCs and touch screens to enable the equipment to work efficiently Test equipment operation to customer's specifications Complete checklists ensuring equipment comply to specifications Provide operational training to customers Write technical instructions with operational examples to enable simple operation by others Lead, train, and coach new and less experienced Electrical Assemblers Read and understand blueprints for assembling machine components Write Quality Discrepancy Report (QDR) for problem solving Notify Supervisor of any problems Scan jobs in the Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems Follow all safety procedures in handling equipment and machines Must meet deadlines Other Duties
Correct electrical drawings using AutoCAD (E-Plan) or other cad software Complete documentation for billing and expenses applicable for each job Operate forklift, electronic pallet jack, and scissor-lift to move equipment and machines Requirements:
Must be willing to submit to a clinic drug test and physical prior to start Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field or an Associate's degree or completion of industrial technical school or a training program related to PLC programming and industrial controls or a combination of education and experience to perform the required essential job duties Two years mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience preferably in manufacturing Five years Electrical Assembler III experience or a combination of experience and education Knowledge of natural gas combustion systems, hydraulics and pneumatics required PLC programming Assembly shop skills, mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills preferred Proficient using a computer including, Word, Excel, and Outlook Customer service skills Provide and use own hand tools Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Ability to adhere to ethical principles that reflect the highest standards of organizational and individual behavior and comply with all laws and regulations Possess effective organization and time management skills, be detail oriented, use good judgment, and manage competing priorities for multiple projects and consistently meet all deadlines Ability to work collaboratively with others and foster cooperative relationships and credibility at all levels of the organization Mechanical ability and knowledge of all safety procedures Forklift certified required Self-motivate team player with the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Domestic and international travel up to a minimal of 30% Valid California Driver License required and acceptable driver record
