As an Independent Licensed Therapist, you will address a diverse range of mental health conditions, providing vital behavioral and mental health treatments that include individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs. Primary Responsibilities: Build strong provider-patient relationships and coordinate care with external providers. Conduct comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluations. Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance use disorders. Deliver mental health counseling services to individuals, families, and couples. Utilize a variety of treatment approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods to treat mental health conditions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation in compliance with all regulatory requirements. You'll be recognized for your performance in an environment that fosters your growth, offering challenges and clear directions for success. Development opportunities for future roles are also available. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field. Valid and unrestricted license (LMSW, LPC, LMFT) in the state of Michigan. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of professional social work/clinical experience post Master's degree. Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families. Experience working with children and adolescents. Proficient in using technology for professional communication and medical documentation, including Excel, Outlook, and Athena RMS (or other EHRs).
