- As a part of the Optum family, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Behavioral Clinician or Therapist to enhance our team. In your role as a Licensed Clinical Therapist/Independent Licensed Therapist, you will address a diverse range of mental health conditions, providing compassionate care and support to our unique patient population. You’ll be involved in delivering individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs. Key Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with patients and coordinate care with external providers. Conduct thorough outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provide essential medication management. Play a vital role in training and mentoring our graduate students. Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance abuse disorders. Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. Monitor treatment response and track clinical symptoms to tailor patient care effectively. Participate in community outreach through presentations and lectures. Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records (Athena) and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a relevant counseling field. Valid license (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC) in your practice state. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of post-Master's degree clinical experience. Experience providing direct therapy services to individuals and families. Proficient in using technology for communication and medical documentation, including Excel, Outlook, and Athena RMS (or other EHRs). Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $58,300 to $114,300 annually. Pay will be based on various factors including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.
