UNICON is a Las Vegas based General Contractor specializing in civil and road construction.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Works Project Manager to oversee the planning, design, and execution of municipal infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale public works projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Project Planning and Management:

Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and timelines for public works projects, including roads, underground, water/wastewater systems, and other municipal infrastructure.



Stakeholder Coordination:

Collaborate with government agencies, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment with community needs and regulatory requirements.



Budget Oversight:

Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.



Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all projects meet local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, safety, and zoning requirements.



Team Leadership:

Lead cross-functional teams, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative working environment.



Risk Management:

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.



Progress Reporting:

Prepare and deliver regular updates and presentations to stakeholders, including elected officials and the public.



Quality Assurance:

Ensure all work meets design specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications:



Experience:

Minimum of 7–10 years of experience managing public works or infrastructure projects.



Skills:

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and BlueBeam

• Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Work Environment:



Office-based with frequent on-site inspections of project locations.
