Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors related to the specific position. These may include skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.

Chandler Industries is seeking a forward-thinking Business Systems Analyst

to lead workflow automation and AI agent integration within Finance and Supply Chain. This role will identify high-impact manual processes, automate them using Epicor and other tools, and develop AI-powered solutions to offload recurring digital work. A key mandate is to execute Finance automation projects aimed at achieving a “push-button close” and eliminating routine transactional work.

This position is central to the AI adoption roadmap of the company.

AI & Automation Strategy

Design, prototype, and deploy AI agents (using platforms like OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to automate:

AP/AR triage, cash application, invoice matching

Forecast commentary and management reporting

Automated stakeholder and vendor communications

Task-specific digital workflows such as purchase order validation or exception detection

Identify high-ROI use cases for generative AI, natural interfaces, and predictive models across Finance and Supply Chain.

Finance Transformation

Execute automation projects to pursue a “push-button close”, minimizing manual journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting lags.

Reduce monthly close cycle time through integration and AI-enhanced controls and exception handling.

Drive automated budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

Workflow & ERP Integration

Lead data tagging and process redesigns within Epicor to prepare for automation or AI agent deployment.

Build low/no-code automations using Epicor Automation Studio, Power Automate, or similar platforms.

Support ERP modernization efforts across multiple sites with Epicor at the core.

Data & Reporting

Automate Power BI report and embed AI for trend detection, variance commentary, and data QA.

Integrate data sources across ERP, HRIS, and planning tools to streamline dashboards and KPIs.

Change Management

Develop SOPs, process maps, and end-user training materials to support adoption of new tools and workflows.

Act as internal evangelist for AI-readiness and digital process optimization.

Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience

3–7 years of experience in business systems, ERP, or process automation roles.

Strong understanding of financial and/or supply chain operations in a manufacturing context.

Experience designing, developing, or deploying AI/ML agents to solve real-world problems or automate decision-making processes, specifically in finance and or supply chain operations.

Experience with Epicor ERP, Power BI, and tools like Epicor Automation Studio or Power Automate.

Familiarity with AI tools and platforms (OpenAI API, Azure AI, ChatGPT Enterprise, etc.).

Excellent communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated experience leading projects to automate workflow.

ERP/Supply Chain automation experience.

Ability to operate autonomously without technical mentorship.

Prior exposure to financial close, reporting, or planning processes a plus.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.

Self-motivated with an obsessive attention to detail and a relentless drive for continuous improvement.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to establish and contribute to a high degree of teamwork and collaboration with diverse groups.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All employees must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. , U.S. Permanent , Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Additional Skills and Experience or Helpful

Experience with ERP systems, particularly Epicor, and supply chain analytics tools.

Familiarity with machine learning applications in financial and operational analysis.

Exposure to scripting and automation (e.g., Python, VBA, RPA tools like UiPath).

Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
