to join our dynamic team! The
AWS Connect Developer
contributes to various projects within a federal agency. This role is based in Woodlawn, MD, and requires a qualified candidate with robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, coupled with keen attention to detail.
The candidate must be local to the DMV area. Must be on-site five days a week in Woodlawn, MD .

Position Overview :
We are seeking an
AWS Connect Developer
to design, develop, and implement AWS Connect solutions that support and enhance client processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with
AWS Cloud
and
AWS Connect
environments, as well as proficiency in development tools such as
Node.js ,
Python , and
Java . In this role, you will work on enhancing and maintaining existing AWS Connect processes, including applications, workflows, and integrations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and contribute to the successful implementation of client solutions.
Key Responsibilities : AWS Connect Development : Design, develop, and implement AWS Connect solutions, including creating or modifying applications, forms, workflows, policies, actions, access control, and interfaces to meet client requirements. Enhancement & Recommendations : Provide recommendations to enhance existing operations and introduce updates or modifications to improve performance and functionality. Requirements Gathering : Facilitate the collection and documentation of system requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise specifications. ServiceNow Solutions : Support the design and development of solutions within the
ServiceNow
environment to complement AWS Connect processes. Process Documentation : Create comprehensive process flow documentation for AWS Connect solutions and configurations. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of AWS Connect solutions. Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree
in
Computer Science ,
Mathematics ,
Engineering , or a related field. 7+ years of experience
working with large enterprise frameworks and complex systems. 7+ years of hands-on experience
working with
AWS Cloud
platform. 3+ years of experience
with
AWS Connect
(Amazon Connect) development. 3+ years
of experience using
Node.js ,
Python , or
Java
for backend development. 3+ years
of experience designing and implementing
call routing
and
messaging
solutions. Excellent
interpersonal
and
communication skills , with the ability to effectively collaborate and document technical processes. Required Skills & Experience :

process flow documentation , providing clear guidelines for system configurations and changes. Technical Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate interaction with stakeholders, document requirements, and present technical solutions clearly. AWS Solutions Development : Deep understanding of
AWS services , particularly AWS Connect, and experience in developing solutions for cloud-based environments. Desired Skills & Experience :
