100% onsite in Miami Shift: Mon-Fri 8 to 5 Top 3 skills 1) Maintain, operate, test, inspect, perform preventative maintenance, and repair all types of Computers (GPU/CPU, motherboard, network cards, chipset), Peripheral (touch screens, Printers), Servers, and other networking equipment. 2) Compile and execute custom device drivers and/or modify existing drivers from source using hardware-specific APIs (application programming interfaces). 3) Experience with Linux-based operating systems (boot, scheduler, task manager, daemons, linking, networking and shell script configuration control)

As an R&D Computer Technician, you will be responsible for setup, debugging & troubleshooting of Computer equipment and software configurations of medical devices. You will assist the R&D software engineering processes for testing. You will manage the software development/engineering lab and Server room to maintain the software/hard configuration as per specifications. You will create software Images/media from the Cloud and Install them on the computers using Linux operating systems. RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to): • Maintain, operate, test, inspect, perform preventative maintenance, and repair all types of Computers (GPU/CPU, motherboard, network cards, chipset), Peripheral (touch screens, Printers), Servers, and other networking equipment. • Compile and execute custom device drivers and/or modify existing drivers from source using hardware-specific APIs (application programming interfaces). • Provide technical support for the R&D engineering group including setup, debugging & troubleshooting new devices/servers and processes, tooling support. • Assist, prepare, develop, and implement documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, technical reports, change requests, and formal test protocols and reports. • Generate purchase orders, coordinate orders and deliveries with vendors, Inventory management, shipping & receiving computer equipment, preparing commercial invoices, and liaising with internal Customs specialists. • Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Associate degree or higher in some form of technical field is preferred. • 3 to 5 years of technician experience in a Computer/Electronics • Understanding of configuration management systems and large-scale software development. • Experience with Linux-based operating systems (boot, scheduler, task manager, daemons, linking, networking and shell script configuration control) • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash). • Knowledge of Networking • Strong attention to detail. • Previous experience in an R&D and/or manufacturing environment preferred. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a continuously changing environment.
