Our client, a well-established organization in Madison, WI, is seeking a highly organized and dependable
Temporary HR Assistant
to support their Human Resources team during a peak period. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who is looking to gain or expand experience in HR.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with onboarding tasks including preparing new hire paperwork and scheduling orientations
Maintain employee records and ensure all files are accurate and up to date
Support benefits administration by responding to employee inquiries and coordinating documentation
Help coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates as needed
Assist with HR reporting and data entry into HRIS systems
Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including calendar management and meeting preparation
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with HRIS systems is a plus
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, normal business hours
Pay:
$20-$24 per hour, based on experience Job Type:
Temporary (Estimated 3-4 months)
Pay Details:
$20.00 to $24.00 per hour
