Details at www.duq.edu/benefits Location: School of Nursing Position Status: Full-time Hours: Varied Position Number: 440409/10-1083 FLSA Status: Exempt POSITION SUMMARY:This is a highly skilledand diversified position which entails computer, clerical, secretarial,logistics, and planning skills. The Clinical Coordinator assigned primarily tothe Doctor of Nursing Practice Program will need to have the capacity to workindependently to prioritize among the needs of multiple projects, as well asexercise considerable initiative. This position is responsible for the primaryfunction of all aspects of clinical site coordination for the DNP program. Technical skills in the operation of dominantsoftware packages and the use of Typhon software are required. The primarycontacts of the position are the School of Nursing Chair of Advanced Practice, DNPAnesthesia Track Director and Assistant Director, and DNP Program Director.DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the management and coordination ofclinical sites.Assist with the establishment, development, and maintenance of a number andvariety of clinical sites that are sufficient in quantity, quality, anddiversity for all learning experiences.Participate in a comprehensive, ongoingsystematic data collection process and database management for preparingclinical education reports and site information.Report student clinical issues/problems toProgram Director.Develop and manage a process to collect allclinical evaluation tools.Analyze feedback from clinical sites and studentsto assess the strengths, weaknesses, and needs of clinical education.Assist in the management of necessary documents/contractsfor student clinical projectsMaintains current clinical site contracts,affiliation agreements, and other necessary documents.Establish and maintain a Clinical CoordinationCanvas site for students with up-to-date information and communications.Detailed record keeping, maintenance of studentand program files, planning and assistance with onsite student activities,assistance with accreditation activities.Demonstrate professional behavior in coordinatingand organizing clinical site education.REQUIREMENTS:Minimum qualifications:Work requires a Bachelor's Degree inbusiness or related field from an accredited institution and 3-5 years of experiencein a closely related field.Preferred qualifications:Prior experience supportingsenior management is preferred and highly desirable.Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination ofexperience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilitiesrequired to perform the essential job functions.
