Job Title: Marketing Technology Solutions Architect Location: Newton area, MA (Hybrid - 2-3 Days Onsite) Salary Range: $130,000 - $145,000 base + 8% annual bonus (based on company and individual performance) Introduction Are you passionate about marketing technology and thrive at the intersection of IT and business strategy? The Planet Group is seeking a Marketing Technology Solutions Architect to join a tight-knit internal IT team and support enterprise marketing tools. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong IT background and deep knowledge of marketing platforms who can bridge the gap between technical requirements and business outcomes. Minimum 7 years of experience in IT business analysis, solution architecture, or related roles Prior experience working with marketing automation tools and MarTech integrations Conceptual understanding of IT systems and architectural planning (not a hands-on developer role) Strong experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements Working knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Must be able to work hybrid onsite in Newton, MA 2-3 days per week Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Marketo (primary marketing automation platform) Familiarity with tools such as Demandbase, 6sense, ZoomInfo, Drift, or Outreach Strong documentation and communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams Experience working within or supporting high-tech or software industry companies Prior exposure to sales or channel technology platforms Certifications in Salesforce, Marketo, or similar platforms a plus Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Serve as the key architect and point of contact for marketing technology initiatives Collaborate with Marketing Operations and other IT teams to plan and implement new MarTech solutions Evaluate marketing tools, assess integration risks, and ensure system scalability and consistency Lead end-to-end planning and design for complex cross-functional projects Drive the standardization and optimization of marketing data flows and processes Provide clear guidance on system health, platform usage, and security considerations Support vendor evaluation, PoCs, and legal/security reviews for 3rd party marketing solutions Company Benefits & Culture
