Job Description
Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating millwork construction projects. Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications for accuracy and consistency. Track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project schedules. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and information. Help maintain project documentation, including contracts, logs, meeting minutes, and progress photos. Monitor project progress and budget; flag potential delays or cost overruns. Support in scheduling site visits, installations, and quality control checks. Communicate regularly with clients, architects, and general contractors to provide updates and resolve issues. Assist with punch list creation and project closeout documentation. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in construction project management; millwork experience is highly desirable. Understanding of construction processes, especially related to custom millwork, cabinetry, and interior finishes. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar). Strong written and verbal communication skills.
