Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and logistics; coordinate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients; submit permits with local jurisdictions in Central Oregon Budget & Cost Control Prepare and manage budgets, approve expenditures and change orders, process invoices, monitor forecasts and projections for labor, materials, subcontracts, and equipment Schedule & Workflow Management Create and update master schedules; track milestones; adjust to delays or conflicts; coordinate site logistics for team members and subcontractors Safety & Quality Assurance Implement QA/QC and safety programs, enforce OSHA and local code compliance, conduct regular inspections and safety audits Contract Administration & Procurement Negotiate and manage owner agreements and subcontracts; oversee submittals, RFIs, and change orders; maintain logs and documentation Reporting & Client Communication Lead OAC (Owner/Architect/Contractor) meetings, provide weekly status updates, issue forecasts and costtocomplete reports, and review progress with stakeholders Project CloseOut & Warranty Manage punch list resolution; compile turnover packages including O&M manuals, warranties, asbuilts, and record drawings MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Architecture is preferred. Typically 5+ years of commercial CM experience, though experience-heavy candidates may be considered Certifications & Tools Certifications like OSHA 30, PMP, CCM, or LEED preferred; experience with software such as Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Sage 300 CRE, AutoCAD/Bluebeam etc. Technical Knowledge Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications across structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines; familiarity with Oregon building codes and public contracting law when applicable Soft Skills Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, problemsolving, multitasking, and organizational skills; strong attention to detail and integrity What's on Offer
