Cannabis Chem Lab
(CCL) is a high paced testing laboratory looking for great teammates. Working under the direction of the Laboratory Director, you will develop the required skills and knowledge to be successful.
Responsibilities: • Assist with sample intake, preparation, and documentation according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test methods. • Perform routine laboratory tests on cannabis samples, including sample homogenization, extraction, and dilution. • Prepare reagents, standards, and controls for analysis, following established protocols and safety guidelines. • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments under the supervision of senior staff. • Document test results, observations, and deviations accurately and promptly in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems. • Assist with general laboratory housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and stocking supplies. • Adhere to health and safety protocols, including the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a scientific field preferred. • Prior laboratory experience or coursework in chemistry, biology, or a related field is preferred but not required. • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
