Network Engineer
Location: Park City, Utah As a Network Engineer at POWDR Corp, you will play a critical role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure secure, high-performance connectivity across all resorts. You'll work with Aruba and Palo Alto networking technologies, SD-WAN solutions, and cloud-based networking to support business operations, resort services, and guest-facing technology. The starting salary for this role is $75K - $85K. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Network Support & Maintenance: Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco, Palo Alto and Aruba networking equipment, including switches and wireless controllers. Wireless Network Optimization: Manage and optimize Aruba Wi-Fi solutions to ensure resort-wide, high-performance wireless connectivity. SD-WAN Implementation & Management: Support SD-WAN deployments to optimize traffic routing, increase network resilience, and enhance cloud connectivity. Network Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and access control policies to safeguard business operations and guest data. Manage and configure Network Address Translation and Port Address Translation for secure and efficient network traffic flow. Troubleshooting & Incident Response: Quickly diagnose and resolve network outages, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity issues across multiple sites. Infrastructure Expansion & Upgrades: Assist with the planning and rollout of network expansions, hardware refreshes, and cloud-based integrations. Collaboration & Vendor Management: Work closely with internal teams and technology vendors (Cisco, Aruba, SD-WAN providers, ISPs) to ensure network reliability. Monitoring & Documentation: Use network monitoring tools to proactively identify issues and maintain up-to-date documentation of network architecture and configurations, including Visio-style network diagrams for clear visualization and troubleshooting. Other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or IT infrastructure roles. Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba and Palo Alto switches and firewalls. Strong knowledge of Aruba wireless solutions and enterprise Wi-Fi optimization. Experience configuring and managing SD-WAN technologies for multi-site connectivity. Proficiency in network security best practices, including firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs. Familiarity with VoIP, POS systems, and cloud-based networking is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in high-demand, multi-site environments. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor industry setting, sometimes in resort locations with varying weather conditions. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Aruba ACMP are highly desirable.
