Telos Global specializes in the conception, design, training & consulting services, and production associated with high-quality press hardened steel and aluminum stampings, tooling, and the associated thermal and production equipment. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with expertise in hot stamping processes within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of hot stamping projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of hot stamping technologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance. General Duties:

Developing project plans, managing resources, coordinating with suppliers, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The Project Manager will also be responsible for risk management, stakeholder communication, and compliance with industry regulations. Classification:

DOE Responsibilities: Lead and manage hot stamping projects internally and externally from initial RFQ through production launch, ensuring scop, timeline, and budget objectives are met. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, tool design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain. Oversee the design, procurement, and commissioning of hot stamping tools, dies and equipment. Monitor and control project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables using appropriate project management tools. Serve as the primary point of contact with OEMs and tier 1 suppliers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals. Conduct regular project reviews, update senior management, and escalate issues as necessary. Ensure all hot stamping activities comply with automotive standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and customerspecific requirements. Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across hot stamping projects. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing engineering, Project management, or related field. Master's degree, preferred. 5years of automotive experience, specifically with hot stamping or metal forming process. Strong understanding of hot stamping technologies, die design, press operations, vendor management, and material behavior (Boron Steel, Aluminized coatings, etc.) Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver on time and within budget. Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and DG&T. Proficient in project management tools (E.G., MS Projects, Primavera, or similar). Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. (up to 20lbs) for tasks such as transporting samples, presentations, or marketing materials. Ability to move around the office and manufacturing facility, including access to various departments, meeting rooms, and production areas. Regular, predictable attendance is required; including increased hours as business demands dictate. Maintain focus and productivity throughout the workday, including managing work-related stress and meeting deadlines. Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to client sites, vendors, and manufacturing plants, which may include long hours of travel.
