Summary : The Technical Advisor OEM is responsible for guiding and developing repair procedures, evaluating inspection reports, and ensuring adherence to OEM practices and quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues, prepare cost estimates, and support continuous improvement in safety, productivity, and process efficiency. Additionally, the Technical Advisor OEM provides engineering recommendations, participates in technical meetings, and contributes to project planning and execution within the Everllence repair facility.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Apply knowledge of OEM practices, equipment, and procedures to guide inspections and develop repair processes. Quickly adapt to repair emergencies, focusing on customer needs and priorities. Create and evaluate inspection reports and develop detailed repair procedures while obtaining vendor quotations. Communicate with HQ Engineering and collaborate with various stakeholders on projects. Maintain quality standards in the shop and across projects, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Analyze blueprints and documentation to prepare accurate cost, time, materials, and labor estimates. Develop manufacturing component drawings and verify accuracy of incoming inventory against records. Consult with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and provide technical guidance. Drive continuous improvement in safety practices, productivity, and quality assurance while meeting contract requirements. Participate in technical meetings with clients and internal WIP/production meetings to forecast and schedule work. Recommend and document standard inspection and repair procedures, incorporating upgrades where applicable. Support and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and other technical evaluations as needed. Education:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineer or other relative degree. Experience/Qualifications/Skills:

Minimum five (5) years of experience providing engineering support and production documentation for turbomachinery repairs. In-depth knowledge of OEM practices, equipment, procedures, and guidelines, with the ability to swiftly adapt to repair emergencies focused on customer needs. Extensive experience with common rotating machinery repair processes and industry best practices, including centrifugal compressors, axial compressors, steam turbines, and pumps. Familiarity with API 687 standards. Basic understanding of shaft weld repair processes. Excellent communication skills. German & Spanish fluent highly desired. Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering software for calculations; CAD design experience is a plus.
