Job Description
Database Engineer | Enterprise Server Environment
Location: Philadelphia, PA (relocation available)
Full-Time/Direct Hire/Salaried /Exempt
US Citizen or Green Card required, no C2C
What You'll Do
Manage and support a robust ecosystem of
150+ production database servers Administer, configure, and maintain
SQL and NoSQL
databases, including
MongoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, and SQL Server Support and optimize
ETL processes
that drive core business functions and
application integration Design and implement
highly available, fault-tolerant
database architectures Collaborate with
front-office technology
teams to deploy next-gen solutions Troubleshoot system-wide performance issues, support legacy systems, and enhance database operations Tune SQL queries, enhance write operations, and assist with incident response and production data recovery Maintain systems through
software/hardware upgrades , performance tuning, and monitoring Manage projects What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree
in Computer Science, IT, or related field 5 years of experience in a Database Engineer role focused on systems integration Hands-on experience with
SQL and/or NoSQL
in large-scale, high-throughput environments Experience with
Linux
and
Windows
OS Proficiency in
SQL development ,
shell scripting , and
Python Excellent
leadership ,
communication , and
project management
skills Strong experience with enterprise database environments Familiarity with
ETL tools
(e.g., Informatica) and
DevOps/CI/CD tools
(e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible) is a
plus
