Program Administrative Associate (Bilingual, Patient Support)

The Choice, Inc. is seeking a temporary to hire Program Administrative Associate for our nonprofit client- a public health nonprofit, which delivers large, complex patient financial assistance programs serving75,000+ patients nationwide.
This position is responsible for compliance, eligibility review, and customer support throughout the patient enrollment/onboarding process in the Grants Management System (GMS).
Spanish fluency is required , and a high attention to detail is essential. Qualifications: High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred. 1–2 years of customer service, administrative support, or other detail-oriented experience; healthcare experience is a plus. Spanish fluency required; strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (including ability to perform basic tasks like mail merges). Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, handling confidential matters with integrity. Comfort learning and using new systems; basic office skills (computer, scanner/copier usage). Responsibilities: Review and assess eligibility for charitable assistance program applications and grant requests via the grant management system (GMS). Process applications and required documentation, ensuring compliance with program protocols. Provide timely, professional customer service via phone, email, chat, and GMS messaging to patients, caregivers, renal professionals, and other stakeholders. Troubleshoot issues, gather information, research resolutions, and clearly communicate options and outcomes. Collect and report GMS error data from various channels and provide regular updates to leadership. Participate in consultations/feedback sessions to improve processes and system use. Explain financial assistance program guidelines to constituents. Support patient support department projects and adapt to evolving program needs. In-office presence is required 1-2 times per month. The office is in North Bethesda, MD and offers free parking and is also within walking distance to the North Bethesda Metro station. The hourly salary for this position is $24 and $50,000/year upon successful temporary to hire conversion.
