HR Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an HR Assistant with 2 years of experience in a similar position. This is a permanent role, located in Uniondale NY.

Responsibilities:

Consolidate and manage candidate information from various recruiting platforms and staffing agencies.

Coordinate interview logistics, including scheduling and preparing materials for both candidates and interviewers.

Administer in-office skills assessments for legal support staff applicants.

Oversee onboarding logistics such as scheduling, documentation, orientation setup, and distribution of onboarding materials.

Assist with summer associate recruitment by managing interview schedules, preparing materials, and tracking candidate progress.

Support law school recruitment efforts, including on-campus interviews (OCI), job fairs, and other events by organizing schedules and preparing necessary materials.

Maintain accurate and organized records related to recruitment and professional development initiatives.

Maintain attendance records for legal assistants, including updating timesheets and schedules.

Correct timekeeping errors and missed punches in the HR/Payroll system.

Generate standard HR reports and assist with data entry tasks as needed.

Monitor benefits eligibility timelines and prepare benefits notification memos for new hires nearing eligibility.

Manage the firm's labor law poster subscription to ensure compliance with legal posting requirements.

Respond to routine benefits inquiries and escalate complex issues as necessary.

Configure and manage the Open Enrollment process in the HR/Payroll system, including plan setup and testing.

Resolve discrepancies in benefits data to ensure accurate payroll processing.

Qualifications:

Proficient with Excel and HRIS/ATS

Worksite: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $50,000-55,000/yr

Pay Details:

$50,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
