Network Administrator
The Network Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the Banks network infrastructure, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity across all branches and systems. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with a customer-service mindset to support both back-end systems and end-user needs. Network Infrastructure Management Configures, maintains, and troubleshoots Fortigate firewalls, Cisco routers, and switches for security and performance Ensures network availability, redundancy, and scalability across all locations Implements and monitors network security protocols and firewall rules Maintains documentation of network configurations, procedures, and inventory Uses network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues Assists with audits, compliance checks, and documentation for regulatory requirements Systems Administration Manages Banks Active Directory including user accounts, group policies, and permissions Administers Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, and licensing Maintains and support VMware virtual environments and associated resources Oversees storage area networks (SANs) for data integrity, backups, and disaster recovery Help Desk and End-User Support Provides Tier 2/3 support for IT-related issues including hardware, software, and connectivity; may also handle Tier 1 support calls as needed during staffing shortages Collaborates with help desk staff to resolve escalated tickets and improve support processes Assists in training and development of new and existing staff related to best practices and new technologies Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; background in financial services or another highly regulated industry preferred Hands-on expertise with FortiGate firewalls and switches Proficiency with Cisco networking equipment (routers, switches) strongly preferred Extensive knowledge of Office 365 administration and Active Directory Proven experience managing VMware environments and SANs Willingness to maintain, obtain, or work towards the following preferred certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) certifications Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate VMware Certified Professional (VCP) CompTIA Network+ or Security+ Working knowledge of Fiserv DNA is a plus Excellent troubleshooting skills: ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to a changing environment Strong communication skills with the ability to be clear and concise Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Customer focus with the ability to build and maintain relationships Ability to travel to various branch locations and flexibility in work schedule on nights and weekends as necessary Ability to occasionally lift equipment weighing up to approximately 40 pounds
