The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is excited to announce an opening for a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to support the HEITS Contract as part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Insider Threat Program (ITP). Join us in this pivotal role where your expertise will be crucial in maintaining, enhancing, and innovating our network enterprise to safeguard the homeland from potential insider threats.
The selected candidate will take on the following responsibilities:
Manage the ITP network infrastructure, ensuring regular maintenance activities are performed, advising on enhancements, and overseeing availability and capacity management.
Oversee the High Speed Guard Cross Domain solution for secure data transfers across various classification domains.
Support documentation efforts to effectively maintain the network configuration baseline.
Contribute to the design and implementation of system recapitalization plans to accommodate growth and evolving customer requirements.
Act as the subject matter expert for all aspects of the ITP network infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience.
Experience in leadership roles.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in developing and maintaining technical documentation, analyses, and reports.
Skilled in preparing and presenting briefings to senior management and stakeholders.
Familiarity with defense-in-depth principles, security architecture, network topology, IT device integrity, and common security elements.
Possession of an active Top Secret government security clearance with the ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in IT Management, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
10+ years of proven experience in IT service delivery management.
Familiarity with User Activity Monitoring products and platforms.
Experience with the Everfox High Speed Guard Platform.
Proficient in managing Cisco and Juniper LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
