Summary
The VPC Inspector will be responsible for the daily inspection and/or processing functions within the VPC Department in order to insure a quality vehicle is being shipped to the end customer on behalf of Glovis/HMA.
Responsibilities
Inspect new vehicle exterior features for defects and/or damages
Inspectors will operate IQS tablet (Samsung Tablet) and input defects found on vehicles Inspectors will inspect new vehicle exterior features in search for defects and/or damages Inspector will need to be attentive to details Inspector will communicate found defects
Inspect vehicle according to company guidelines and procedures
Inspection vehicles according to the SWIS and Inspection Audit Form Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and fellow peers Communicate found defects to either online repair to fix or to the out scan team member, so that it may be entered into the IQIS system
Must willfully perform other tasks as instructed by leadership
Fulfill various other roles such as driving, battery testing, tire pressure, and/or throw-in (i.e. floor mats, cargo nets, cargo trays, and owner's manual ) within the VPC department other than inspection Maintain housekeeping standards May have to work in other departments to help maintain daily production goals

This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting.
