The Quality Control Inspector reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector will inspect panels and enclosures throughout the production process as they go through the different departments of Electrical Power Products, Inc. These departments include steel, paint, mounting, wiring, enclosures, and shipping.
Responsibilities and Duties Implement quality assurance policies and procedures. Perform routine inspections and quality tests. Inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards and the customer's bill of materials. Document deficiencies and errors of products and confirm corrections of these errors. Operate a manual hydraulic pallet jack. Requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred. Ability to read blueprints and exploded-view drawings. Exercise common sense when making decisions. Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Physical Requirements
Continuous speaking, hearing, and visual (including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus) effort Frequent standing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and handling Commonly lifting/moving of up to 40 lbs. individually Occasionally lifting/moving 50-100 lbs. with assistance Exposure to loud noises, drilling, cutting, banging, and typical manufacturing production physical hazards
