Our client, a top-tier Management Consulting firm, is seeking an experienced
IT Project Manager
to support a growing portfolio of strategic initiatives for a leading marketer and distributor of propane gas nationally. This organization serves customers with operations spanning residential, commercial, and industrial markets. The work environment combines a mission-driven culture with a nationwide footprint and a focus on enhancing customer experience through technology and process improvements. The individual will be responsible for providing project management support across several new initiatives, primarily focused on three key areas: Call Center operations, Self-Service Online Portal enhancements, and Back Office functions. The Project Manager will collaborate with assigned stakeholders to define, communicate, and manage projects within the current portfolio
Requirements and Qualifications : • Manage multiple projects as part of a larger portfolio of initiatives. • Support the definition and revision of business processes related to customer experience, including customer journeys and call center workflows within Microsoft Dynamics CRM (D365). • ssist and guide Business Process Analysts in capturing business requirements, identifying testing scenarios, and documenting other critical project elements. • Coordinate with technology architects to define and validate build-or-buy solutions. • Oversee cross-platform business process integrations spanning multiple technologies, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SAP, digital platforms, Qlik, BI, and others. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Customer Operations (Call Center, Digital, Back Office), Consulting, Customer Experience SMEs, and IT (Architects, Developers, Integration and Data Specialists). • Support delivery of multiple project releases on an accelerated timeline throughout calendar year 2025, with potential continuation into 2026. • Manage enhancements and improvements across Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, and associated platform integrations. • Coordinate with other Project Managers, IT Business Partners, and Solution Architects to ensure alignment and successful delivery. • 8+ years project management experience leading large scale technology initiatives • CRM and ERP Projects: Experience managing initiatives involving CRM (Dynamics a plus) and ERP systems (SAP a plus). • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the energy or utilities industry is preferred, but not required. • Project Methodologies: Proficiency working within various project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches. • dministration & Management: Strong understanding of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, coordination of people and resources, and human resources modeling • Multi-Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Project Tools: Experience using Microsoft DevOps, Jira and / or Confluence (or a similar platforms) for project tracking and management. • Collaboration Tools: Comfort using Slack (or comparable tools) for communication and collaboration in place of traditional email workflows. • Communication Skills: Strong communicator across verbal, in-person, visual, and written formats. • Leadership & Initiative: Capable of leading discussions to drive initiatives forward and working independently when needed. • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail. • Cross-Functional Experience: Background in Sales, Marketing, or Product Development is a plus. • The Qualified Candidate will demonstrate the following Characteristics: • Strong project management and process skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to support a team in a fast-paced, demanding work environment • Strong communication skills (both written & verbal) • Demonstrated leadership qualities and teaming experience • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work
