Engineering Manager

with deep expertise in

industrial controls and automation systems . This individual will lead a team of engineers while remaining actively engaged in the design, programming, and implementation of control systems on the production floor.

This position offers a unique opportunity for a technically skilled leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-heat environments and is eager to drive impactful change. This individual must be

fully on-site

and consistently present on the plant floor to lead by example.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of engineers responsible for automation, controls, and systems integration. Design and deliver control system solutions from concept through implementation. Develop and program complex control systems using

Allen Bradley PLCs

and advanced programming languages, including

Ladder Logic ,

Function Blocks , and

Structured Text . Oversee and optimize

VFDs ,

Kinetix motion control systems , and other automation components. Maintain and improve

Control and OT network architecture

to ensure system reliability and security. Troubleshoot and resolve issues on the floor, must be hands-on and responsive to operational needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure controls systems align with production goals and efficiency standards. Champion a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field preferred. 7+ years of experience in controls/automation engineering, with 2+ years of engineering team leadership. Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with

Allen Bradley PLC systems

and industrial automation technologies. Strong understanding of

control engineering principles ,

motion control , and

network infrastructure

in a manufacturing setting. Proven experience leading full-cycle controls projects, from design through commissioning. Strong leadership presence with the willingness and ability to work directly on the production floor. Must be comfortable working in high-temperature environments.
