We are Safebox Technologies, a growing South Florida Managed IT Services provider located in Marco Island, Florida. We are looking for a rock star IT technician to join our team. Then this may be the perfect job for you! As an IT Technician, you will analyze technical issues that come in and troubleshoot over the phone, onsite, or via remote access.
Responsibilities
The ability to manage, maintain, troubleshoot and support our clients, their networks, equipment, software, and services Troubleshoot user problems remotely and onsite Accurate documentation of all activities conducted The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements Ability to self-start, work independently and achieve high standards to meet multiple deadlines Work effectively in a team-oriented environment with a positive, can-do attitude. Adept in developing and maintaining strong relationships with management, staff, vendors, and clients Mistakes are inevitable; owning up to them is essential Explicitly proficient communicator, including writing, speaking, editing, proofreading, and computer skills Ability to identify the root cause of technical issues and implement solutions Required Technical Skills
Windows 10 and 11 Operating Systems & Hardware Printer and Multi-function devices and technologies Standard Windows Applications Microsoft Office Suite Quickbooks installations and troubleshooting Email and Mobile Device connectivity Mac OS troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity issues (Routers, firewalls, switches, etc.) End point backup systems troubleshooting Active Directory Windows Server 2008–2022 Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure Firewall troubleshooting and management Additional Requirements
Lifting laptops/desktop computers and printers may be required. On rare occasions, heavier equipment (large printers, servers, or desks) may need to be moved and require a team lift We often have changing priorities; in our rapidly growing organization, the candidate needs to be comfortable with that Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred At least 3 years of IT experience IT Certification is a strong plus Prior MSP experience is a strong plus Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work well as part of a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Understanding of data privacy and security Low voltage and network cabling experience is a plus Have a valid Florida driver’s license and a clean record
