Description

SUMMARY

Assignments as a Specialist will include and are not limited to initiate, manage and track NDA's, SPA's and corresponding all aspects of new supplier registration, including setting up suppliers in GMDM and VAATZ. Build monthly queries, track and manage spreadsheets for various projects as needed for Procurement and Product Planning. Send and track vendor assessments and surveys as needed. Maintain the Procurement mailbox, responding on behalf of Procurement and filing emails in appropriate sub folders. Run queries in Access and provide Data Maintenance. Evaluate historical purchase pricing and market trends. Engage in market research and data analysis of raw materials and components for potential cost savings.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT: Facilitate

new supplier enrollment both (domestic & overseas) and process any Supplier updates in G-MDM and VAATZ. Manage all new supplier onboarding documentation for Procurement and Finance departments. Process and administer NDA's, Redline outlines, Supplier Purchase Agreements (SPA's), banking information and other related onboarding paperwork. 30% PROCURMENT DATA MAINTENANCE : Create and run queries to establish reports with details, graphs and trends. Maintain cost savings data spreadsheet and run weekly and as a month end report. Create and maintain Monthly On-time Supplier performance report. Create PO summary by Supplier/Source/Commodity. Run profitability report by Supplier/commodity. Maintain Supplier Master. Create a raw materials database to define market trend pricing and supplier unit costs for common materials and run on a quarterly basis. Create and maintain the tooling database. 30% SURVEYS, ASSESSMENTS AND DATA ANALYSIS: Maintain

accurate documentation to support internal reviews, customer or company audits and fact-finding/negotiations. Incorporate efficiencies, automation and templates that will add value to the current procurement process. Update system relative to potential supplier changes. 20% PROCUREMENT and PPD DEPARTMENT SUPPORT: Supporting

both teams with queries, email follow up, Supplier assessments and surveys, issuing documents, and retrieving pertinent data from other departments. Compiling/tracking spreadsheets. 20% SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with 1 hour for lunch. May include overtime or weekend as needed. (May modify as needed) Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business or Data Science or equivalent combination of education and experience. Overall Related Experience

Recommended; 3-5 years of Experience working with databases, data manipulation, and report generation using tools like Access and Excel. Familiarity with data analysis techniques, data modeling, and data visualization. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in handling data Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, data analysis tools, and macros are required. SKILLS (COMPETENCIES)

Problem solving and decision-making. WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. (May modify as needed). PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. (May modify as needed) OTHER DUTIES

The expected hiring range for this position is $26.13 - 38.55, depending on experience and qualifications.
