NYPCC is proud of our ongoing commitment to employee mental health and well-being.Why Work at NYPCC:We Pay Down Your Student Loans!Productivity BonusMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance is Paid for by NYPCC 100%Paid Time Off and Company Paid Holidays403B Retirement Plan with Company MatchContinuing Education Opportunities AvailableProfessional Development through NYPCC AcademyAmazing Workplace CultureNYPCC Health and Wellness EventsJob DescriptionThe primary role of the Clinical Supervisor is to provide support and guidance to less experienced NYPCC for Therapists and Interns, as well as direct clinical services as assigned by the Administrative team.Responsibilities:Provide clinical supervision for assigned staff, addressing development of diagnostic, treatment planning, and intervention skills, processing any countertransference issues, and the resolution of ethical/legal issuesWork alongside Human Resources and the training team to provide ongoing training to supervisees related to agency policies and proceduresEvaluates the quality of individual clinicians and helps to improve their clinical skills and documentation.Reviews case records to ensure that staff is compliant with regulations and Agency policy concerning preparation of treatment plans, assessments and progress notesReview supervisees' documentation, correct errors, and educate supervisees as to documentation requirementsAssist in coordination, development, and/or oversight for selected services or programs, as assignedReviews case records to ensure that progress notes are current and appropriateParticipate in case reviews following psychiatric hospitalization and incident reportsPrepare written evaluations, Corrective Action Plans, and disciplinary actions for individual workers, as requiredProvide program coverage and crisis intervention as neededHold regular supervision meetings with supervisees to discuss the status of individual cases and documents supervision in a log.Ensures that clients are treated at an appropriate level of care and utilization of services is clinically appropriate.Monitors high risk clients on clinicians' caseloads and ensures an appropriate caseload size.Reviews and approves cases for discharge.Participates in supervisory conferences with the Administrator and other supervisors to discuss issues in the programAssist with training of new and existing staffBe on-call for selected weekends and eveningsWork effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamPerform other duties as assigned by SupervisorQualificationsMaster's Degree from an accredited school in Social WorkLicensed by the state of New York (LCSW)SIFI certification and experience supervising Interns is a plus1-3 years of Clinical Experience working with Inpatient or Outpatient Mental HealthPrevious Supervisory Experience is a plusAble to be on-call during off-hours and weekends by cell phone; available for consultation on an as-needed basisMust have therapeutic experience working with children, adolescents and adults Tues-Sat Hybrid scheduleOutstanding engagement, interpersonal communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines, including clinical and clerical staffExcellent leadership and management skillsExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task is requiredStrong demonstration of professionalismTakes initiative, prioritizes, and adjusts to change wellExcellent verbal and written communication skills that are timely and effectiveProficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointProficient in Microsoft TeamsAble to work well in a fast-paced environmentDedicated to workplace mentorship, education, and team-based careMaintains a positive attitude and is friendly, upbeat, and has a great "can do" personalityPassionate about NYPCC's mission and valuesAdditional InformationSalary: $95,000 - $105,000 per yearCompensation will commensurate with experience and qualifications.
