PeopleSoft Developer

The PeopleSoft Developer is an experienced programmer supporting PeopleSoft and Oracle EBS. To be successful in this role a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills is needed to navigate the complexities of the business demands. Continuous learning is crucial to stay current with rapidly evolving technologies and processes. You will also need to be a team player possessing excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on communication and customer service. An employee in this position can expect an annual starting rate between $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. Develop customized solutions using Peoplecode, Application Engine, SQR, App Designer and Integration Broker. Work with the Human Resources team to support and enhance the PeopleSoft application, including the Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits and Time and Labor modules. Provide technical and functional support in the analysis and corrective action for problems arising within the PeopleSoft application. Write technical specifications and design documents that are clear to developers and reflective of business requirements. Meeting deadlines or resolving unexpected technical issues can necessitate extended hours, including evenings and weekends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective problem solving skills required. Understanding of business processes and how they translate into PeopleSoft functionalities, allowing for a more effective and impactful solution. Adaptability to the ever evolving PeopleSoft landscape as well as changing user requirements. Excellent time management to successfully manage project timelines and deliverables. Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights based on project needs. Ideally this individual is commutable to either our Westbury, NY or Union Square, NY office for a hybrid schedule. Associate degree or technical school certificate preferred. Minimum of 5 years related experience required. Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft including the Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits and Time and Labor modules. Experience with Peoplecode, Application Engine, SQR, App Designer and Integration Broker. Knowledge of Oracle Financials a plus.
