Job Title: Production Team Lead

We're seeking a proactive and skilled Production Team Lead to oversee daily operations and drive continuous improvement within our manufacturing environment. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring production efficiency, quality, and safety while leading and mentoring a team of associates. Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead, motivate, and provide guidance to production associates. Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback for evaluations. Assist in disciplinary actions and address associate-related issues. Facilitate departmental training and communication.

Production Operations:

Ensure efficient and safe startup and shutdown of production line machinery. Maintain optimal machine control settings and troubleshoot operational abnormalities. Monitor production quality and implement measures to minimize defects and control costs. Achieve production and yield goals within assigned area. Operate machinery as needed to meet production demands. Maintain accurate production records and inventory control. Promptly report production and quality issues to the supervisor.

Quality & Compliance:

Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures, including IATF, ISO, ISMS, TISAX, QMS, and safety regulations. Function as a First Responder according to the WVSM Manual. Maintain required systems within production (TPM, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, Inventory Control, etc.). Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Investigate safety issues and accidents as needed.

Maintenance & Safety:

Perform appropriate level maintenance on production equipment. Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment (5S)

Communication & Collaboration:

Effectively communicate with associates, supervisors, and other departments. Interface with suppliers and customers as needed.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred. Minimum of two years of combined post-secondary education and/or relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in 1 basic computer applications. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle stressful situations with tact and diplomacy. Ability to learn and adhere to multiple complex procedures. Ability to maintain strict attendance. Ability to lift, stand, and perform physical tasks associated with a manufacturing environment. Ability to see and hear with or without corrective devices. Willingness to complete continuing education as required. Working Conditions:

Manufacturing environment with potential hazards associated with machinery and equipment. Ability to work overtime, varying shifts, and weekends as required. Training:

On-the-job training, LMS training courses, classroom training and/or seminars. Supervisory Controls:

Reports to the Sensor Production Supervisor. Key Skills:
