Position The Manager for the Business Operations & Strategic Delivery (BOSD) team will be part of the Client Platform COO Group. The COO team plays a critical role in executing the Client Platform strategy, supporting leaders across the platform in running their business lines, driving scale and efficiency, and partnering with infrastructure leaders for smooth operations. The BOSD team focuses on key processes across teams, including platform operations (L&D, risk/regulatory), sales planning, sales practice oversight, and strategic client relationships. The team also leads initiatives to create efficiencies and support growth. The Manager will primarily focus on sales planning to enhance operations and strategies, aligning with platform objectives, optimizing resources, and driving performance. The role involves redefining legacy work, identifying process and technology efficiencies, and leading organizational transformation. Additionally, the Manager will lead cross-platform strategic projects as capacity allows. This role is based in Boston or London but has a global remit, working closely with teams across the Client Platform. Responsibilities
Act as a change agent, partnering with stakeholders to enhance sales operations and strategies, lead improvements, and facilitate adaptation to new processes. Oversee the global meeting swings process, including qualification, governance, troubleshooting, and evaluating impact and efficiency. Coordinate defense efforts for sales teams, ensuring they have resources, tools, and infrastructure. Collaborate on investor succession planning strategies and workflows, communicating changes to the Client Platform. Partner on the annual business planning process, working with sales, product management, investment directors, and finance. Champion the integration of technology and AI into processes to improve efficiency and outcomes. Lead cross-platform strategic projects, working with key business partners. Manage and support Analysts, co-ops, and interns involved in these workflows. Qualifications Qualifications include: 8+ years in asset management, with sales experience advantageous Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects across geographies Problem-solving skills to diagnose challenges and facilitate transitions Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach Excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration Adaptability and resilience under pressure Knowledge of infrastructure supporting the business Ability to independently drive projects in a collaborative environment Global mindset and willingness to work flexible hours Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot) and Tableau We encourage candidates who believe they can excel, even if they do not meet all qualifications, to apply.
