The Executive Director serves as the key leader of The Healing Hearts Project, responsible for overseeing administration, programs, and strategic planning. This role also leads fundraising, marketing, and community outreach, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), salaried position.

Essential duties and responsibilities Board Governance: Collaborate with and report to the Board to advance THHP’s mission, maintain effective communication, and serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization.Financial Management: Ensure financial health through budget oversight, resource development, fundraising, and maintaining accurate financial and event records.Mission and Strategy: Lead program implementation and strategic planning to fulfill THHP’s mission, while actively representing the organization within the community and building partnerships.Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with legal and financial requirements, maintain volunteer and administrative procedures, and support effective volunteer engagement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred.Proven leadership and management experience in nonprofit or related fields.Budget management skills and financial acumen.Strong organizational, planning, and delegation skills.Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking communication abilities.Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising and donor relations.Ability to build partnerships and motivate volunteers and board members.High integrity, flexibility, and a collaborative, proactive approach. Education and Experience Proficiency with spreadsheets and donor databases (CRM systems).Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to an insured vehicle.Successful completion of background screenings.Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends for meetings or events.
