RSM is looking for an Audit Manager to join our Lending team, focused on banking and specialty finance, where we are the middle market leaders across the country. Responsibilities:

Provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds expectations, including coordinating the auditing of financial statements, disclosures, and client deliverables. Assess risk and design audit procedures, communicating effectively with engagement teams. Understand and utilize RSM’s Audit Methodology. Manage multiple engagement teams and evaluate staff performance. Supervise Audit Seniors and Supervisors, facilitating fieldwork and monitoring productivity and schedules. Maintain contact with clients to understand business developments and their impact on audits. Develop others through training, advising on career development, and participating in firm initiatives. Read industry publications and share relevant information with clients. Address client concerns and escalate issues as needed. Discuss opportunities with clients to introduce additional services. Develop strategies to leverage external relationships for business growth. Manage project profitability. Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to senior management. Identify opportunities for performance improvement. Ensure ongoing professional development and stay updated on GAAP and firm policies. Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the year, depending on client needs. Required Qualifications:

BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent. CPA or CA Certification. 5+ years of recent experience in public accounting. Experience leading teams and mentoring staff. Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, FASB, or IFRS regulations. Proven ability to build profitable client relationships. At least 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience overseeing staff on multiple engagements. Preferred Qualifications:
