While sales are a key outcome, the Market Development Manager primarily focuses on driving strategic growth within a specific market, rather than direct selling. Five daily duties/tasks: Daily outreach and engagement (new introductions and check-ins with existing contacts through calls, emails, or personalized messages) with architects, interior designers, custom home builders, and luxury real estate developers to raise awareness of Euroluxe and generate interest in our offerings with an aim at scheduling and conducting in-person meetings at our showroom or their location to identify opportunities for project bids. Strategically identify and pursue novel market approaches and opportunities by thinking outside the box, moving beyond what's typically targeted within the luxury home sector and consistently integrating this expanded outreach into your daily work. Utilize CRM tool to regularly track sales pipeline, monitor progress on ongoing projects, and analyze sales performance against set goals. This involves daily updates to CRM systems, generating reports on lead conversion rates, and collaborating with management to adjust strategies as needed to meet sales targets and capitalize on market opportunities. For every qualified lead, research client needs and share vital information with our in-house design and sales team. This close collaboration will drive the development of tailored solutions, including detailed product presentations, preliminary design concepts, and quotes. You'll also critically review and refine quotes and help present initial project proposals to prospects. Boost market outreach by planning and executing monthly showroom events. This involves identifying critical continuing education topics, securing engaging speakers, managing guest invitations and attendance, and meticulously handling all event logistics, from catering to showroom setup. Proactively collaborate with in-house designers and installers to understand and address all incoming post-sale customer inquiries, from initial order through final installation with a goal of ensuring complete client satisfaction and fostering repeat business. Independently resolve low-impact concerns and support the owner in addressing more complex issues. Other non-daily tasks: Create and grow email list by engaging with your contacts and showroom visitors. Develop and distribute regular newsletters highlighting new products, design inspiration, exclusive events, and promotions. Collaborate with installers and customers to gather project images and testimonials for compelling content. Partner with our web designer to ensure the website reflects current customer interests. Design, implement and maintain a robust referral program for satisfied clients, incentivizing them to spread the word about their positive experience. Research/stay informed about current design trends, competitor offerings, and economic indicators impacting the luxury market. Attend local trade events to boost outreach and keep up to date with local industry news and insiders. Qualifications Prior sales or market development experience within related industries strongly preferred. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred Strong business acumen in project planning and management CRM proficiency is required Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills Seniority level
